Easy touch aiming: Slide one finger anywhere on the table to spin your aim around the white ball, just like Mini Golf. Sweep in a circle for a full turn, or make a small slide for a small adjustment. Touching down does not change your aim, and your finger never needs to cover the target. Lift and start again anywhere. Fine/Fast aim controls the arrow buttons and joystick; direct finger aiming always follows your drag.
These are friendly house rules: no called pockets, no wagering, and ball in hand anywhere after a foul, including the break. Practice mode lets you clear both groups before the 8-ball. The computer is a local simulated opponent.
3D view: Choose Move view or press Alt+M, then drag to rotate all the way around and tilt from table level to overhead. Choose Pan to slide the table across the screen. Two fingers move the scene directly, even while aiming; pinch to zoom. Lift both fingers before aiming again. Use Move view for one-finger rotation and tilt. The + and − buttons zoom too. Done moving or Alt+M again returns to aiming without changing your shot. Fit table restores the whole table. On a mouse, scroll to zoom, right-drag to rotate, or Shift-drag to pan. While moving the table, arrow keys rotate/tilt (Shift pans), +/− zoom, 0 fits, and Escape returns to aiming. Top view works without 3D graphics. Your camera saves separately from the game.
Optional practice coaching: Choose Menu → Start practice coaching when you want help. Normal play has no shot warnings or outcome predictions. End coaching switches them off. Hint compares shots using the same game physics, including follow/draw and the next cue-ball position. Use this setup applies aim, power and cue contact. Gold marks the target pocket; blue marks the predicted white-ball path and finish. Warn checks for a foul before you shoot; you can adjust or choose Shoot anyway. Hints are the best found among tested shots, not a guarantee.Thumb controls: the joystick below the table adjusts aim left/right and power up/down. While moving the cue ball, it moves the ball in the direction you push on screen, leaving the table visible. Small arrow buttons give precise placement. Direct finger aiming and dragging remain available.Controls: drag anywhere on the playing area to aim. Use the fine-aim buttons for small adjustments, choose Power, then press Shoot. Fine aim gives 0.05° nudges; switch to Fast aim for larger adjustments. Hold Shift for precision on the keyboard. The red dots on the cue ball show its natural rolling rotation. On a keyboard, Left/Right adjusts aim; Space takes the shot. Menu opens your game options.
Spin and massé: tap the cue ball marked Spin. Drag its red dot up for follow, down for draw, or sideways for English. Raise the cue with an off-center strike to curve the ball; Massé gives you a starting setting. Use this stroke applies it, while Center returns to a level, centered hit. The short aim guide on elevated shots shows the initial direction, before the curve. Spin is available when it is your turn and the balls have stopped.
Move the white cue ball: choose Move cue ball before the break, after a foul, or anytime between shots in Practice. Drag it or tap a clear spot, then Set cue ball. Before a match break, stay in the starting quarter behind the head string. Arrow keys also move it; Shift makes smaller adjustments.
Thumb controls: use the round pad below the table to aim left/right and adjust power up/down. While moving the cue ball, the pad and arrow buttons move it without covering it with your finger.
Coaching is your choice: Hints and predicted-foul warnings only appear after you choose Start practice coaching in Menu. End coaching, a new game, or a page reload turns coaching off.
Watch your opponent: their cue and current aim appear while they line up a shot. Online updates may take a moment to arrive.
