Mosaic Drift - How to play

Your goal

Restore the picture by arranging the numbered tiles in reading order: 1–4 on the top row, 5–8 on the next, 9–12 on the third, and 13–15 followed by the gap on the bottom row.

How to play

Tap or click a tile horizontally or vertically beside the gap to slide it. The gold borders show which tiles can move.

Arrow keys move the empty space in that direction. Or use Tab to focus a tile and Enter or Space to slide it.

Undo restores your last move and move count. Peek at art shows the completed artwork without spending a move; select Back to puzzle to continue.

Calm uses a shorter shuffle. Deep uses a longer shuffle. Changing difficulty or selecting Reshuffle starts a new puzzle.

A satisfying finish

Every puzzle is shuffled using legal slides, so it is always solvable. There is no timer. Fewer moves is better; the best completed count for each difficulty is saved on this browser when storage is available. The final piece releases the full artwork in a golden bloom.
